Imperplak workmanship warranty
Every Imperplak Solutions project carries a written workmanship warranty covering installation defects. Standard term is two (2) years from substantial completion for coating, sealant, and waterproofing work, extendable to match the manufacturer system warranty when a manufacturer NDL warranty is issued.
Manufacturer warranties
Where we are an approved applicator, we can issue manufacturer-backed warranties from 10 to 20 years, including material-only and NDL (no dollar limit, labor + material) terms. The specific manufacturer, term, and conditions are quoted with every applicable proposal.
What's covered
- Defects in installation workmanship per the written scope of work
- Material defects covered under the manufacturer's written terms
- Leaks attributable to the installed system within the warranty term
What's not covered
- Damage from acts of God, vandalism, or third-party trades after substantial completion
- Failures due to substrate movement beyond design limits
- Modifications to the installed system by other parties
- Lack of required annual maintenance documentation (manufacturer NDL warranties)
Maintenance requirements
Manufacturer NDL warranties typically require annual documented inspections. Our Preventive Maintenance Program is the easiest way to keep these warranties in force.
